Packet Pickup: Ages 16+

Location: Check in at the Volunteer Tent at Ann Morrison Park.

Volunteers will greet participants, distribute race bibs and tee shirts. You could be both standing and/or sitting throughout your shift. Some positions within packet pickup do require use of a computer.

Finish Festival Park Set-up: Ages 18+

Location: Meet at the Americana entrance to Ann Morrison Park.    

Volunteers will help set up tables, chairs, signs, recycling containers, trash boxes, etc. outdoors in Ann Morrison Park. This job requires physical activity and moderate lifting. Volunteers will most likely be on their feet the duration of the shift and may be asked to drive materials around the park in golf carts. Plenty of parking is available in the park; please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. For safety, no open-toe sandals or flip flops allowed.

Start Line Set-up: Ages 18+

Location: Meet at Cecil D. Andrus Capitol Park (Capitol Blvd./Bannock St.)    

Volunteers will help set up fencing, signage, flagging and other components of the start line area. This job requires physical activity and moderate lifting. Volunteers will most likely be on their feet the duration of the shift. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. For safety, no open-toe sandals or flip flops allowed.

Start Line Race Morning: Ages 16+

Location: Check in at the Volunteer Tent at Cecil D. Andrus Capitol Park (Capitol Blvd/Bannock St).

Volunteers will assist with various start line needs. Duties include greeting participants, providing assistance and directional information to start corrals and help ensure a safe and fun race start line. Additional start line signage cleanup may be requested.

Finish Line: Ages 16+

Location: Check in at the Volunteer Tent at Ann Morrison Park.

Duties include encouraging participants as they cross the finish line. Keeping runners moving efficiently through the chute, directing runners to the post-race area where they can wait for loved ones, get their picture taken, and retrieve their belongings from gear check, etc. An enthusiastic personality and a big smile are a must.

Breakfast Set-Up & Server: Ages 14+

Location: Check in at the Volunteer Booth at Ann Morrison Park.

Volunteers will be responsible for setup, organization of and serving pre-wrapped breakfast items, and cleanup.

Water Tent at Finish Festival: Ages 14+

Location: Check in at the Volunteer Booth at Ann Morrison Park.

Volunteers will be responsible for setup, moving and opening cases of water, distribution of bottled water to participants at the finish line, and cleanup of tent area. 

Finish Festival Green Team: Ages 12+ 

Location: Check in at the Volunteer Tent at Ann Morrison Park.

Volunteers will set up trash boxes and recycling bins in Eco Stations around the park. Volunteers will encourage attendees to use the bins and help educate on proper sorting at the point of disposal. Volunteers ages 18+ will transport both trash and recyclables via golf carts and mules to the appropriate dumpsters.

Depot Water Station: Ages 12+

Location: Check in at the Boise Depot Plaza (2603 W. Eastover Terrace)

Volunteers will set up the water station, fill and stack cups with water, and restock cups throughout the course of the morning. Getting wet and standing for long periods is required for this role. A smiling face and cheering attitude is appreciated!
