Taking Control of Your Health!

One of the great things about being a part of the St. Luke's Weight Loss Challenge is the support and structure available to help you take control of your health and with great resources! Taking control of your health means you are making a conscious effort to benefit you!

One of the best ways to do this is to find your motivation. Why is your health important to you? Is it because you want to be able to walk up the stairs and not become out of breath? Is it to have more energy to keep up with your kids? Find what motivates you and use that to help yourself set small goals. Every small achievement gets you a step closer to a healthier you!

This week create a plan for yourself and stick to it! Keep it realistic like, I will walk for 10 minutes every evening after dinner or I will attend a fitness class each week. As a participant of the Weight Loss Challenge you have the opportunity to attend many events that can help you. Check the facebook page or your email for details!
